My mom wasnt sure where this picture came from but she told about the crystal ball room that my uncle John and aunt Mary had in syracuse. Uncle John said when he first opened he sold beer for 5 cent a glass. Wow!

Story time
This picture of my mom and grandpa reminds me of a story my mom told me about her brother Red.
They had family friends who were frequent visitors at their home and they also owned a car. Red was about 13 and my mom was about 10 when Red thought he'd like to take their car for a spin around the block. He posted my mom as a lookout and she was a bit frantic when drove by for second trip around, hollering 'you better get back here or pa will kill ya! What am i suposed to say to them 'Gee my brother druving your car, he'll be right back'
